WORK and "WEGOS"

This picture represents what my world is like today.  The "whip" of self-employment is never ending...  Mark and I and the kids are adjusting to our new lives and learning to balance it all as much as possible!  Sara Kate talks a lot about "WEGOS" as our house is full of them now!  I have to say it is very therapeutic to be making a living with these fun little bricks (except when you step on them!) and the families we are meeting are so COOL!  The kids (both boys AND girls) are amazing and their imaginations are inspiring.  One of our students, upon completing the Empire State Building said, "Mr. Mark and Miss Vicki, I feel so good about myself...I did it!"  That is how we want all of the kids we teach and our own children to feel about anything they try in life.
I have to admit I am now juggling more than I thought I ever could.  I have been a stay at home Mom for 17 years so hard work is not new to me, but this new life is very challenging.  You know what I say (as the "ROCKY" theme is literally playing in the background as the boys watch the movie)...BRING IT ON!!!!!!
